Theres a lot of min maxing that goes into DnD to be honest but its super fun if you keep up with patch notes and take one day to read every single classes every single ability, once you know what people are doing, and more so the weapon attack patterns, youre set.

Summit isn't wrong, this game is a clunky, unbalanced, shit show of a game. Concept is cool but the execution is laughable. I guess that's what you get when you steal an idea and have to race your old company to release

DaD isn't a skill based game, it's a knowledge based game. Fights usually end in 2-3 hits where as the first one to strike win. Combat is just spacing until you get a hit then go all in and gear check the other. There isn't much dept or skill involved. (2k hours on the game since EA released. More so if you add the playtests and I've hit Examplar every season). Also IM can't get their stuff together and make the game grow. They are incompetent and keep making the same mistakes over and over again.

Time to try dungeonborne cause damn it feels so much more satisfying to play and it feels a lot more fleshed out too so far, just the fact that i dont have to go to a dozen different merchants just to organize my shit, and can just sell directly to one, and quickly make some potions and bandages from materials i can gather in the game, love it.
